Today, we are looking for an Accountant to play a key role in the financial management of our construction projects. As a key member of the team, you will actively participate in coordinating payments to subcontractors and ensuring invoicing compliance. You will directly contribute to the smooth running of our operations and the continuous improvement of our processes.

Your day-to-day, filled with purpose and impact:

• Participate in the complete accounting cycle (accounts payable, receivables, bank reconciliations, journal entries, etc.);
• Coordinate the payment process for subcontractors and ensure compliance of their invoicing in collaboration with the project teams;
• Track construction project costs and ensure the accuracy of allocations;
• Participate in the analysis of variances between actual costs and budgets;
• Produce certain government reports (TPS/TVQ, CNESST, etc.);
• Actively contribute to the implementation and improvement of accounting and technological tools;
• Participate in the development of internal processes to ensure efficiency and compliance;
• All other related duties.

What you bring to the table:

• A college diploma (DEC) or university degree in accounting
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in accounting
• French languagefluency, both spoken and written
• Asset: Experience in the construction, manufacturing or other related field
• Asset: Experience in a multi-company group
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• Asset: Knowledge of accounting software (Avantage or Acumatica)
• Autonomy, rigor and attention to detail
• Confidentiality
• Ability to manage tasks and priorities
