We’re currently looking for an Estimating Director to take the lead of a passionate team, drive smart bidding strategies, and contribute to projects that leave a real mark on our city’s landscape.
Your day-to-day, filled with purpose and impact:
- Select key projects to bid on in collaboration with senior leadership
- Dive into plans and specs, assessing risks and spotting opportunities
- Mentor, support, and elevate your estimation team
- Take part in bid reviews and closings
- Conduct post-mortems to improve future performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Meet with clients and collaborate with teams to bring new projects to life
- Ensure smooth communication with project management and site crews
- Visit construction sites occasionally to stay grounded in the field
- We’re currently looking for an Estimating Director to take the lead of a passionate team, drive smart bidding strategies, and contribute to projects that leave a real mark on our city’s landscape.
What you bring to the table:
- A technical diploma in estimation or a degree in construction engineering
- 8 to 10 years of experience in residential, commercial, and institutional construction
- At least 3 years of experience managing a team — and yes, positive leadership matters
- Proficiency in estimation and bidding software
- A methodical and collaborative mindset, with an eye for both detail and strategy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French
