Key Responsibilities
- Read and thoroughly interpret architectural plans, technical specifications, engineering reports, and other bid documents;
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs;
- Estimate direct and indirect costs;
- Prepare complete and detailed bids;
- Ensure estimates comply with client requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulations;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers;
- Propose innovative solutions or alternatives (materials, construction methods) to optimize costs;
- Work closely with internal teams;
- Actively contribute to the improvement of the company’s estimating processes, tools, and methods;
- All other related duties.
Education and Experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- To possess critical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French
